397 Main St., Hyannis, USA

In Main Street's Old Town Hall, the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum explores JFK's Cape years (1934-63) through enlarged and annotated photographs culled from the archives of the JFK Library near Boston, as well as a seven-minute video narrated by Walter Cronkite. The gift shop sells mugs, T-shirts, and presidential memorabilia. A full-scale renovation completed in fall 2005 spruced up the building space and exhibits. www.jfkhyannismuseum.org. COST: $5.
