It was inevitable and foreseeable! Cheryl Cole will not be releasing her new album in America.
Cheryl Cole Takes Lip-Synching Criticism As A Compliment
The British singer told The Daily Star: "I haven't any plans to try and break America this time. I'm more than happy to be releasing it here (U.K.).
"It's not in my plans to tour or release there. But I do want to tour in the UK - the buzz around this album has made me want to get out there."
She was supposed to make a name for herself when she was invited by Simon Cowell to judge the U.S. version of The X-Factor. After only judging one session, she was fired!
Although she did film her Call My Name video in L.A., her team might not find it very economical to release it state-side if no one really knows her.
We are saddened by the news but are comforted by the fact that her single from A Million Lights is number one in the U.K.
Do you think it is a good or bad decision for Cheryl not to break into America?
